Duotone is the alias for Cellist / Composer Barney Morse-Brown.
An acclaimed musician known for his masterful use of live looping and effects, Cellist for award winning artists and bands such as Birdy, Maya Youssef, Imagined Village & Eliza Carthy and wearer of fine hats and facial hair.
Duotone's unique project - Instagram Soundtracks - takes images of the natural world, posted by you and underscores the photos with a bespoke soundscape using only the Cello.
This subscription service is what I would call a 'No Frills' subscription.. As boring as that sounds I am keen to not over-commit and to keep the focus purely on the music and hopefully create a space for deep listening and the appreciation for all things eclectic..
I really appreciate that there is a lot of people baying for your attention, (and here I am doing the same) but seriously, as music is so readily available and in most cases free, I would like to give you the opportunity to delve into the weird world of Duotone and see this site as an chance to more intimately connect with my music.
£5 a month will not only give you access to the back catalogue (4 albums), every bit of audio from Instagram Soundtracks, around 1/2 new compositions every month but also enable me to make the best music that I can and hopefully give you the best listening experience I can.
